Our Story

For most, naming a business is harder than naming a child. However, I had the name picked out before the business was ready to launch, one that would communicate my vision of care so compassionate that our clients would always know they are part of my family.

I looked to my own family, what I would want, or the services I needed. Most importantly, would the care staff love my parents as much as I did? Could I trust them? It seems like I became a CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) just yesterday, but it's been over 15 years now. The driving force was taking care of my own parents. I know it's a difficult time because I've lived it.

I truly love what I do every day. Taking care of others is my vocation. If I can put a smile on a sad face, or bring out a laugh, I know my day is complete. My promise to all families is that your loved one will be seen by me personally at least twice a month, as I'll be stopping by unannounced to ensure my care team is doing their very best. We also have surveys filled out by families and loved ones to retain quality of care.

After reading this, I hope you gain new insight as to who I am and why I spend my time on this business. Thank you for trusting me with your or your family's care.

I dedicate PFHC to my parents for setting the standard of importance of family. My sons, Tyler and Hunter, for making me the mother I am today. Lastly, Callahan Joseph, sent from heaven, who made me a member of the grandmother club. I live a blessed life with gratitude.
